Purpose: Fit-for-Duty Assessments are designed to support employers when there are concerns about an employee’s mental health, behavior, or fitness to work. The goal is to ensure workplace safety, minimize liability, and help employees receive appropriate care and support when needed.

When a Fit-for-Duty Assessment May Be Appropriate:

  • After a mental health crisis, hospitalization, or extended leave
  • When unusual or concerning behavior is observed on the job
  • If an employee is exhibiting signs of emotional instability or impaired judgment
  • Following incidents involving threats, aggression, or erratic behavior
  • As part of a return-to-work process
  • At the recommendation of HR, EAP, or legal counsel

What’s an CALOCUS-CASII assessment?

 The CALOCUS-CASII assessment is for children ages 6-18. It’s designed to determine the appropriate intensity of services a child and their family need, as well as continued guidance, treatment planning and reevaluation every six months. For this assessment, we’ll look at a child’s:
