  • What services does Trusted Results Therapy Group provide?

We offer a full range of mental health services, including individual, family, and couples therapy; psychiatric evaluations and medication management; and comprehensive psychological testing. Our licensed providers support clients of all ages with both in-person and telehealth appointments across South Carolina.

  • What makes Trusted Results Therapy Group different from other practices?

At Trusted Results Therapy Group, we do more than provide mental health services — we build a community of care that’s accessible, collaborative, and client-centered.

Here’s what truly sets us apart:

    • Comprehensive, coordinated care: We bring therapy, psychiatry, and psychological testing under one roof, allowing our providers to collaborate seamlessly and ensure every client receives holistic, consistent support.
    • Accessibility for everyone: We accept all major insurances, offer self-pay options, and provide a sliding-scale program to make high-quality mental health care available to everyone — regardless of background or income.
    • Community-driven provider network: We listen to the needs of our community and continually bring on providers who specialize in those areas — from trauma and couples work to ADHD, autism, mood disorders, and more.
    • Personalized provider matching: Every new client goes through our intake process so we can connect them with the best-fit therapist or prescriber for their goals, personality, and preferences.
    • Collaborative system of care: Our therapists, psychiatrists, and psychologists work together internally, sharing insight and expertise to provide a full continuum of care that adapts as your needs evolve.
    • Therapist-owned and led: We are proud to be a therapist-owned and clinician-led organization, meaning every decision — from policy to practice — is made with client care at the forefront.
    • Local roots, personal touch: We’re large enough to offer options, yet small enough to know every client by name.

Our mission is simple: to make mental health care accessible, personalized, and effective for everyone, everywhere.

  • How much does therapy or psychiatry cost?

Our self-pay rates vary by service. Therapy sessions are typically $125–$160, while psychiatric evaluations and medication management sessions range from $125–$350, depending on provider type.

You can find our full rate table on our Rates and Insurance page.

  • Do you accept insurance?

Yes. We accept a variety of major insurance plans, including BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare (see full list on our Rates & Insurance page). We’ll verify your benefits before your first appointment.

  • How do copays and coinsurance work?

Your copay or coinsurance amount is an estimate only based on information provided by your insurance company. Actual costs may differ once your claim is processed. Any differences will be adjusted accordingly.

  • Do you offer telehealth appointments?

Yes! We provide secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions for therapy and psychiatry throughout South Carolina. You can attend sessions from your home, office, or any private space.

  • What is psychological testing, and who is it for?

Psychological testing helps clarify diagnoses and guide treatment plans. It’s most commonly used for autism and ADHD evaluations, but also for learning difficulties, mood disorders, memory or cognitive changes, and pre-surgical assessments. Testing includes intake, assessment sessions, scoring, interpretation, and a feedback meeting with a written report.

  • How do I know if I need psychological testing?

Testing is recommended when symptoms are complex, overlapping, or unclear — for example, when differentiating between ADHD and anxiety, or assessing learning difficulties, cognitive decline, or autism spectrum concerns.

  • What can I expect during my first appointment?

Your first session focuses on understanding your goals, background, and current challenges. We’ll review your mental health history and develop a personalized treatment plan. Psychiatric appointments may also include a discussion of medication options.

  • What is psychiatry and medication management?

Psychiatry focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions using a combination of medical knowledge and therapeutic approaches.

Our psychiatrists (MDs) and psychiatric nurse practitioners (NPs) provide evaluations to determine if medication may help manage symptoms such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, or mood instability.

After your initial psychiatric evaluation, ongoing medication management sessions are used to monitor progress, adjust prescriptions, and ensure your treatment remains effective and safe.

All psychiatric services can be provided in person or via telehealth for convenience and continuity of care.

  • Do you offer medication management?

Yes. Our psychiatrists (MDs) and psychiatric nurse practitioners (NPs) provide ongoing medication management. All clients starting medication begin with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation before regular follow-up sessions.

  • Do you offer sliding-scale or reduced rates?

We offer limited sliding-scale rates for clients who qualify based on financial need. Psychological testing also includes a flexible four-part payment plan. Please contact our office for more information.

  • Do you treat children and teens?

Yes. Our therapists and psychologists are experienced in working with children, adolescents, and families for therapy, ADHD, and autism evaluations.

  • Do you offer couples or marriage counseling?

Yes. We offer couples and marriage counseling to help partners strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and navigate challenges such as conflict, life transitions, infidelity, and parenting stress.

Couples sessions are typically 50–60 minutes and are designed to help both partners work toward shared goals in a supportive environment.

Our therapists use evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs.

  • How do I schedule an appointment?

You can request an appointment in two ways:

    1) Book directly online using our self-scheduling system — available 24/7.

    2) Call our office if you’d like assistance matching with the right provider or verifying insurance coverage.

During the intake process, our care coordination team reviews your preferences, clinical needs, and schedule to connect you with the best-fit provider for your goals. We’ll confirm your appointment and send your intake forms electronically before your first session.

  • What is your cancellation or no-show policy?

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Sessions canceled or missed without proper notice may be charged a cancellation fee.

  • Where are you located, and do you serve clients statewide?

We are based in South Carolina and provide both in-person sessions at our clinic locations and telehealth sessions statewide. Check out our locations to find an office near you!

  • How does your intake process work?

Our intake process is designed to make getting started simple and supportive. After you complete the intake form, our care coordination team reviews your needs, availability, and preferences to identify the best-fit provider — whether that’s a therapist, psychiatrist, or psychologist.

    We consider factors such as:

    • Specialty areas (e.g., trauma, ADHD, anxiety, couples counseling)
    • Availability and scheduling preferences
    • Insurance network or self-pay preferences
    • Comfort with in-person or telehealth sessions

You’ll then receive a confirmation with your appointment details and any pre-session forms or instructions.

  • Is therapy confidential?

Yes. Everything you share in therapy is strictly confidential and protected by HIPAA privacy laws.

We only release information with your written consent or as required by law (for example, if someone’s safety is at risk).

Your privacy and comfort are our top priorities.

  • How do I know which type of therapy is right for me?

That’s exactly what your initial session and intake process are for.

Your therapist will get to know your goals, preferences, and personality, and then tailor an approach that fits you — such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dailectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, and more.

We focus on personalized care, not one-size-fits-all treatment.

  • How soon can I get an appointment?

We understand that getting help quickly matters.

New clients can often be scheduled within one week, depending on provider availability and insurance verification.

  • Do you offer therapy for anxiety, depression, or trauma?

Yes. Our therapists specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and stress-related disorders.

We use evidence-based methods to help you manage symptoms, build resilience, and regain balance in your life.

  • Do you offer therapy for healthcare workers, first responders, or professionals?

Yes. We specialize in supporting individuals who work in high-stress careers, including healthcare, education, and emergency services.

Our therapists understand burnout, compassion fatigue, and trauma exposure — and provide confidential, supportive care.

  • Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?

Yes, many of our providers offer evening and limited weekend hours to accommodate busy schedules.

Telehealth options also make it easier to attend sessions without missing work or school.

  • Can I switch providers if it doesn’t feel like a good fit?

Yes. We want you to feel completely comfortable with your provider.

If it’s not the right match, our care coordination team will help connect you with another therapist or prescriber within our group.

Finding the right fit is part of the process — and we make it easy to adjust.

  • Do you collaborate with schools or primary care doctors?

Yes. With your written permission, our providers can collaborate with teachers, pediatricians, or other professionals involved in your care.

This teamwork ensures consistent support and better treatment outcomes, especially for children and teens.text with bullets, italics or bold, and add links.

  • What ages do you work with?

We work with children (3+), teens, adults, and families.

Our team includes therapists and psychiatrists experienced in every stage of life — from childhood behavior issues to adult stress, relationships, and aging concerns.
